Goadsby Continue Support For Citizen And Respect Scheme

Updated: February 19, 2016

Goadsby are making themselves at home with AFC Bournemouth, by continuing their sponsorship of the Community Sports Trust’s Citizen and Respect scheme for a second year running.

The project aims to use young people’s love of football to encourage good behaviour at school, home, in sport and within the community.

To support this aim, coaches from the Community Sports Trust will be delivering a number of interactive and practical sessions within local schools, as supported by representatives from Goadsby.

“We are really pleased to be able to continue to offer schools in Dorset the opportunity to take part in this brilliant project,” commented AFC Bournemouth partnerships executive Amy Marks.

“We believe it teaches children the fundamental lessons of how to respect others and treat everyone with respect. It is a pleasure to again be working on this project with Goadsby, and we thank them for their continued support.”

Paul Stewart from Goadsby commented, “We are delighted to continue our support of the Citizen and Respect campaign.”

“It’s fantastic to see how well the project is received by the children and the interaction that it generates in both the classroom and its practical sessions.”
