Pet Friendly Properties Needed!

With the excellent school catchment areas around we predominantly have families looking for a property to rent. Many families feel that a pet is an integral part of the family & the demand for pet friendly accommodation remains strong and a section of the market more landlords should tap into.

Nina Goulding, of Goadsby Broadstone indicated that many of these applicants come to us saying, ‘We are finding it hard to find a property which accepts pets….. I am happy to pay a higher rental/rent in advance if that will help me secure a property…. We are willing to get the property professionally cleaned once we move out ’.

With limited supply, tenants with pets often stay in the same accommodation much longer, offering landlords a reduced risk of costly void periods.

Nina says, ‘We have many successful lets with tenants who have pets and we have a number of perspective tenants waiting for pet friendly homes.  At Goadsby we offer added protection for landlords by having a thorough written and photographic inventory carried out as well as specialising our agreements with extra clauses relating to the pet and the cleaning of the property on vacation and by taking up a specific pet reference.”

If you are considering renting out your property please contact Broadstone lettings on 01202 692145.
