We bought our house through Goadsby at the beginning of October 2016. The house was subject to Probate which was expected to be finalised at the beginning of December. Due to misinformation from the solicitors dealing with the Probate we didn't complete till the second week of January 2017. Throughout the process Goadsby could not have been more helpful and indeed did their best to expedite the purchase. Despite the reviews that have been written we will have no hesitation in considering them when we eventually sell the house in years to come.

I have had no problems dealing with Goadsby over the last 3 years either as a landlord through them and then onto my property sale. They have answered my calls and emails to my satisfaction and also forwarded on messages from my tenants allowing me to resolve matters in a timely fashion. The sale progressed slowly but that was legal issues rather than agent related problems.

I wouldn't touch this estate agent again. We had an offer in on a property with Goadsby which was progressing nicely when we had a phone call from the branch manager claiming we had put in an offer on another property. We were never sure where he got that information from but it was actually incorrect; he told us he was going to pull our offer on a property and put the house back on the market. We learnt through another estate agent in the area that this man had been on the phone doing the "best mates" routines, giving out our personal details and asking after us, we are not sure what started that. After this we pulled our offer on the house and bought one from a different estate agent. I can't believe this sort of behaviour went on! Surely giving out our information breeches the data protection act? We would never sell through them after that and would never consider looking at a property they were marketing; it all felt very sleezy to us and made us wonder what else had been going on. As I said before, we wouldn't touch them again.

Terrible customer service to us as tenants, from goadsbys. They failed to ensure the property was ready for us to move into on time, then failed to get the work done to a decent standard after we'd moved in. When the heating broke down they had no knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation which meant they had to provide alternative heating, so we had to get environmental health involved. They shaft you for legal fees left right and centre. I would not recommend anyone rent off this company, ever.

Some of the worst customer service I've had with an estate agent. Rang to book a viewing and get quizzed on why my house hasn't sold and made to feel stupid for my decisions. Made a complaint with the manager who said he agreed with their comments his employee had made and was sure no harm was meant, barely even apologised for the manner in which I was spoken to.
