Goadsby in Bournemouth are delighted to have recently supported St Peter’s Church with their annual Christmas Fayre. Adam Carter, Lettings Manager of Goadsby Bournemouth arranged for promotional boards around the Church and a donation, promoting the event to both local people and busy shoppers visiting the area.
Following the event, St Peters Church were pleased to advise they were able to make donations of £500 to the Detached Youth Project and £500 to the Chaplaincy as a result of the proceeds, both of which charities help distressed and displaced young adults in Bournemouth town centre, Goadsby’s donation will allow the Church to help keep this lifeline to the young open.
The Rev'd Dr Ian Terry comments ‘This contributes significantly to the common good of the town, particularly these two quite vulnerable groups.’ Furthermore the event organiser, Jane MacDonald comments, ‘We are truly grateful for your commitment to the well-being of Bournemouth.’
