Recently released Rightmove statistics show that over the festive period more homes were listed for sale than ever before.
These early bird sellers are now making up part of the 15% increase we have seen in buyers compared with the same time last year. As a result we have found that every property we have launched so far has been sold within days, after attracting numerous buyers and offers.
A high percentage of people requesting viewings, however, are yet to list their own properties for sale. In the current market, with competition high between buyers to secure properties, you are likely to be competing with buyers who are potentially able to move a lot quicker due to already being sale agreed or having nothing to sell.
To put yourself in a prime position to secure a property and to avoid disappointment, it is recommended to start viewing only when you are on the market or preferably sale agreed.
